I studied health education at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences and graduated in 2007. The topic of my thesis was "the effect of educational intervention based on BASNEF model on eye care in type II diabetic patients". I received my Ph.D. degree in Health Education and Health Promotion fromTarbiat Modares University of Tehran in 2015. My doctoral dissertation was on the effect of educational intervention based on the health belief model and cognitive social theory in preventing osteoporosis in women. Considering my thesis topics in my postgraduate and doctoral program as well as my experience in non-communicable disease center in Larestan Healthcare Network in 2004-2005, I have a special interest in research on non-communicable diseases. and I design, implement, and evaluate educational theory-based interventions related to non-communicable diseases. Most of my research which has led to the publication of papers are on cancers, osteoporosis, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and so on. These studies can change individuals' lifestyle favorably and promote their health level.
